Rita Jeruchimowicz Jeremy, Ph.D.

Rita J. Jeremy received her AB in psychology from the University of Chicago and her PhD in developmental psychology from the Institute of Child Development at the University of Minnesota. Prior to joining UCSF in 1985, she taught at Northwestern University and at the Merrill-Palmer Institute, and conducted research at the University of Chicago.

The children meet Dr. Jeremy at the 1-year, 2.5-, 4-, and 8-year follow-up visits, when she conducts all the developmental and cognitive (IQ) testing of all the children in the study.
